FOREORDAINED

THE DEVIL AND HIS HELPERS

Mankind has always competed for survival amongst themselves and against other species. The poyvers of nature are the driving influence, for all species are motivated by the inherited senses that instinctively contribute to their health and survival. Human family and ethnic groups that increased in numbers were usually the most successful: which gave them the manpower and the need to invaded and exploit the areas of the less populated. Their ancient beliefs and philosophies promoted social ethics and population increases, and the earth is now highly populated and divided into rampaging national groups by the followers of the ancient spiritual philosophies that continue to be promoted. These large national populations use increasing quantities of fossil fuels and chemical products to provide for their needs and wants, and we have now found that this has led to global warming, as well as many other environmental contaminations that frequently endanger our health. In a sense, we could say that nature and humanity's response to its influences has led humans to damage the planet's life-supporting environment to provide for their personal economies and that of their nation. It seems that we now are unable and unwilling to reduce our use of the earth's resources for it would be more expensive, and disrupt our personal economies and that of our nation: putting it and ourselves at risk through failing to maintain our competitive survival-values. It is this situation that the planet's divided populations must overcome if they are to guide their civilization from the calamities that plague them.

We now have the transportation and communication technologies to rule the planet with a single administration; and by halting the costs and sorro>vs of warfare, and the need to defend borders we could greatly reduce the use of the resources that alter the environment, and eliminate for all time the need to overpopulate other ethnic groups that have grown to become nations. We should also wish to halt the political competitions and discriminations that have blossomed within the borders of our national enclaves, so that individuals would no longer need to compete to gain laws that gave them a prestigious or economic advantage over their neighbors. With populationreductions there would be adequate space on this planet for all of the able bodied and industrious to build their homes and produce their economic needs without political interference. The unable
and unwilling would no longer remain a governmental expense, for it would no longer be promoting population increases to support its military might. We wouldn't need to compete for the resources of the planet if there was enough to satisfy the needs of everyone, and then much of our immoral activities toward others would be reduced.

Our ancient family lore and spiritual teachings evolved long before our modern scientific discoveries, and are designed to promote social harmony, but their survival-values encourage the population increases that are needed to compete successfully against other national uitits. These practices continue to be faithfully promoted, which fates mankind to eternal struggle and strife. Therefore, the down-to-earth philosophy that I am promoting deals with overcoming nature's influences, making peace and prosperity for a population that could limit their numbers to the extent that nature doesn't drive them to compete for the areas that their neighbor's use to support their economic groups or households.

There are not enough intelligent numbers on earth at present that have the power to counter the ancient spiritual philosophies that continue to be promoted within the nations of our planet, and my attempts to encourage humanity to deal with these powers falls upon deaf ears, for it is contrary to the spiritual indoctrinations of the planet's populations. Most people do not realize that their religious beliefs, or imaginary gods, do nothing to prevent their earthly fate, for nature
motivates them to compete and abuse each other. In the future we must continue to promote social harmony, as well as teach the public how to avoid the forces that drive them to injure each other physically and economically. Then they will be able to guide themselves more wisely, and with a brotherly respect of others equal rights and economic independence.

It is much easier to talk about overcoming our global problems than correcting them. First we must unite the nations to halt their competitions, and their need to overpopulate or gain a military superiority over their rivals. Then we can take steps to overcome the deterioration of the planet's environment as a single unit: which our divided nations cannot do while they economically and militarily compete with each other. Our newly formed world government must treat all present national and ethnic groups as equals, and not discriminate amongst them in order to prevent social disharmony and conflicts. We will need to adopt an official universal language and provide a single monetary system for all to use in their trade and business dealings, and provide ourselves with the freedom to travel or migrate as we wish. In time the effects of our present nation's propaganda and our inherited prejudices will dissipate, and former rivals will come to associate with each other in the most desirable and advantageous portions of the globe, and they may even wish to leave some areas uninhabited for the preservation of other species.

Our advancing technologies and medical abilities have provided the basic needs to support our increasing populations, and allowed our individual lifespan to lengthen in many areas. We must use this same wisdom and advanced technology toward preventing humanity's need to compete on a global scale, then by reducing our populations we will not need increasing quantities of fuel to heat or cool our homes, or to supply our needs and wants. Having identified our imaginary devil's handy work: which are the influences of nature that drive us to compete and injure each other, we would then be able to use our developing intelligence and abilities worldwide to do the work of a god to guide the course of human civilization toward peaceful and desirable objectives. A majority of our species is the only power that I am aware of that could wrest itself from our foreseen pre-destiny, and they could do so if they became aware that their animalistic and instinctive competitions could be avoided by their united actions.

Conditions on earth are not as perfect as we may wish, for we are subjected to extreme weather conditions, and outbreaks of diseases that affect the health of our agricultural crops, domesticated animals, and ourselves. Consequently, we cannot make our planetary Utopia as perfect as the heavenly Eden that our spiritual teachings have glorified. Our species must ace conditions on earth as our five senses and scientific findings have found them to be, so we must begin to teach our divided societies how to solve their earthly problems, so that conditions on earth can improve to the level of their intellectual ability. We have invented and improved upon our mechanical, electrical, and chemical aids, to support our earthly needs and desires without any help from upstairs, and we can continue to do so while we strive to reduce their impact upon the
planet's supportive environment.

Our S.P.C.A. groups encourage us to treat other species with compassion and in a humane manner, and we would now be able to do so toward our own kind by overcoming our competitions, but unfortunately the steering wheel that guides human civilization is determined by the intelligence and willingness of the masses. They have failed to guide the course of their civilization from its animalistic competitions, so we must teach them how to do so if they are to improve their lot here on earth. And I must add, we have found very few contravening forces in the sky except wayward meteors and comets that could harm us while we peacefully enjoy the abundances that our planet provides.

The powers of the universe are the only higher power that our modern sciences are aware of, and we cannot say that these powers are aware that beasts, bugs, or bacteria, are present on earth, or that any planetary species could communicate with powers that have no eyes or ears. We should be satisfied that we are able to use the power of gravity by damming our rivers to generate electricity or irrigate our crops, as well as to use wind, tidal, and atomic powers. We are an
intelligent species, and we have used our earthly resources and the gigantic powers of the universe to benefit ourselves as we have gained the ability to use them. As our populations increased the abundances of earthly space and resources have dwindled, and we have naturally created the shortages we now face. This has led to increased competition and crime, so we must regulate our numbers to overcome these shortages, allowing us to live in peace and plenty and in greater
compassion toward each other. Hopefully, our species will gain the wisdom and desire to raise themselves above the combativeness of the beasts, and the need to act like a hungry one.
