Mankind is the ruler of the earth, but has failed to guide the course of his civilization. The ancients claimed it was in the hands of spiritual deities, for they were unable to guide its course in days of yore. We now know that this course was influenced by the powers of nature, and that both man and beast are subject to the laws of the jungle, or the competitive environment they face on this planet. Other species probably don't understand what causes them to compete for survival, but humans could greatly reduce the necessity of doing so if they undertook evasive measures.

All species have instincts for survival and many attempt to guard the territory that supplies their bodily needs. Human family and ethnic groups teach moral rules to their children, and nations enforce laws that encourage its citizens to live more peacefully with each other. However, rulers of nations in order to remain popular, and provide for the needs of doubling populations, continue to compete unabated for control of the resources of the planet. We are fated to continue on this undesirable course until we begin to guide our civilization more beneficially than nature has done.

Our various spiritual denominations promote population increases, and an ethnic or national group could not survive in our violent world if it didn't increase its power of numbers or technology and stay competitive with others. In order to avoid the wars amongst nations we must eliminate the competition between them. This makes it necessary that we unite them under one government, and in this modern age we now have the needed communication and transportation ability to do so. Then we could, in the absence of national competitions, safely limit our population numbers so that there are plentiful earthly resources for all to prosper unmolested. This would end hunger and homelessness, and give us the prosperity to make it more socially agreeable to govern ourselves in a just and equitable manner.

You see, majorities have the power to enact and enforce laws that give themselves an economic and prestigious advantage over the minorities. These political competitions must be halted, and such discriminations forbidden, if we wish to share the bounties of this planet in a respectful and peaceful manner.
